Landhotel Beverland features 62 individually-themed rooms, with topics as broad as the Middle Ages, Star Wars and a tree-house suite. Three of the themed rooms are beer rooms, featuring beds inside a large wooden barrel, built out of real 19th-century beer kegs that were in operation until 1995. Guests can arrange a visit to the barrel sauna and at regular intervals the hotel organizes a beer tasting session with the sales manager of the brewery, Rainer Diekmann – one of the first beer sommeliers in Germany.

The imaginative décor of the hotel is inspired by the theme of beer, with sculpted furnishings designed to look like the wooden beer crates of centuries gone by.

Guests who opt to take a tour of the brewery will be spoiled by home-brewed beer, Swabian cuisine and self-distilled liquor. Guests can also have a go at brewing themselves during a seminar with brewmaster Micha Miller.
